Macbeth is amongst Shakespeare’s most infamously violent tragedies. Though not depicting a family destruction on the levels of Romeo and Juliet or Hamlet, Shakespeare does not flinch from display harrowing levels of violence within his play, as the various murders and wars fought do not hide its brutal nature and destructive cycle.
