- Magnesium is crucial for chlorophyll production; low magnesium results in low chlorophyll levels.
- Plants with low chlorophyll levels will photosynthesize less and grow less.
- In summary, low chlorophyll levels result in a lower rate of photosynthesis due to less sunlight being captured.
