Genotype
- Alleles for a specific gene are referred to as the genotype.
- Alleles are different versions of the same gene.
- These alleles function at a molecular level to develop characteristics.
- Genotypes are represented using letters, e.g., allele B codes for brown eyes.
- Understanding the definition of genotype is important for exams.
