Ellie Henderson

Ellie Henderson is Clarissa’s cousin and is also in her fifties. Ellie is depicted as being rather ordinary and lacks the prestige and wealth of Clarissa. Clarissa views Ellie’s life as bland and uninspiring.  Ellie leads a rather sedentary lifestyle, unable to move up to a higher social standing, isolated from the extravagance of Clarissa’s world. Nevertheless, Ellie is in awe of the affluent lifestyle and asks to attend Clarissa’s party.
