Character Analysis

Mr Charrington

Mr Charrington is the owner of an antiques shop that Winston frequents. It is where Winston purchased the pen and diary in which he writes his rebellious thoughts. He also purchases a glass paperweight, which is a small but meaningful connection to the old world, before the Party took total control over the citizens of Oceania.
