Frederick Hale

Although we meet him very briefly, Frederick is named frequently throughout the entire novel, as he is utterly beloved in the hearts of his family. Frederick shares Margaret’s desire for social justice, and is willing to challenge authority to achieve this. He risks his life for the cause he believes in, and now lives out the consequences of his actions.
