Gratiano

Gratiano is one of the Venetian nobles, as well as brother to Brabantio. He brings news of Brabantio’s death upon the return of some Venetian men to Cyprus following Othello’s victory. Upon hearing news of Desdemona’s death, he shows some degree of indifference towards the matter. He also reveals that his brother died of heartbreak from Desdemona’s actions.
