Chapter 10: Henry Jekyll’s Full Statement of the Case

The final chapter of the novella is told from Henry Jekyll’s perspective, allowing the reader to hear first-hand from the enigmatic character. Having already described his final letter as a “confession” in his note to Utterson, Stevenson hints to the reader that the truth of the tale will be divulged and that there is an implication or admission of guilt from Jekyll.
