  • Every point in the original graph is the same distance from the mirror line as the corresponding point in the reflection.
  • The new graph, f of minus x, has the equation y equals f of minus x.
  • To find the equation of the reflected graph, replace x with minus x in the original function.
  • The equation of the reflected graph is y equals 2x squared minus x cubed.
