- Wind energy is used as a substitute for fossil fuels when conditions allow.
- Wind energy is clean, renewable, and has low operating costs.
- Disadvantages include weather dependency, potential harm to wildlife, and being considered an eyesore by locals.
- Offshore wind farms avoid being an eyesore and have a more reliable wind source.
