  • The regular comparative structure of menos… que is used to say that something is less than something else.
  • Structure: [subject] + verb + menos + [adjective/adverb/noun] + que + [comparison]
  • Examples:
    • Este coche es menos rápido que el otro. (This car is less fast than the other one.)
    • Yo tengo menos tiempo que tú. (I have less time than you.)
    • Ella estudia menos que su hermana. (She studies less than her sister.)
  • There are also some irregular comparatives used instead of más bueno and más malo.

peor worse más malo
  • Examples:
    • Esta película es mejor que la anterior. (This movie is better than the previous one.)
    • Su comportamiento fue peor que ayer. (His behaviour was worse than yesterday.)
