Overview	One of the largest irrigation systems in the world, supplying water to over 14 million hectares of farmland. Uses a network of dams, canals, and reservoirs.
Advantages	Increased food production (e.g. wheat, rice). Increased use of hydroelectric power. Improved incomes and reduced hunger.
Disadvantages	Waterlogging damages soil. People are deprived of water downstream.
