Essay Four

For this essay, I have slightly altered the essay structure yet again. It is important to attempt a few different structures to determine what works best for you across different essay questions. This essay is a character study that unpacks three major ideas in the play: Othello as the protagonist whose weaknesses are exploited, Iago’s dubious motives for revenge and ability to manipulate Othello, and finally the similarities between both characters’ jealous tendencies. This enables us to cover both the “alike” and “different” parts of the question.
