Corresponding Angles
- A transversal line intersects two other lines

- Corresponding angles are located to the left of the transversal line on each line it intersects
- When two lines are parallel, corresponding angles are equal
- Parallel lines are lines that travel in the same direction and never intersect
- Four pairs of corresponding angles are formed when two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal
- Each pair of corresponding angles is equal when the lines are parallel
- Angle X is equal to 70 degrees in the given example because it corresponds to an angle that is 70 degrees and the lines are parallel
