Cumulative Frequency
- Cumulative frequency is the sum of the frequency of a class and the classes before it in a grouped frequency table
- Grouped frequency tables show the number of data values within a certain range
- Cumulative frequency can be applied to both grouped discrete data
- To calculate cumulative frequency, add the frequency of each group to the previous cumulative frequency
- In the example of a golf tournament, the cumulative frequency is calculated by adding the frequency of each group to the previous cumulative frequency
- The final cumulative frequency is the sum of all the frequencies in the table
