Edges & Vertices in 3D
- In 3D, an edge is the line where two faces meet
- In 2D, an edge is the bounds of the shape
- A vertex in 3D is a point where three or more edges meet
- A vertex in 2D is a point where two edges meet
- Edges that are not visible in a particular orientation are represented by dotted lines
- Dotted lines help visualize the hidden edges and faces of a 3D shape in 2D representation
