  • Three or more brackets can be expanded by repeatedly expanding pairs of brackets.
  • The FOIL method is used to multiply out the first two brackets.
  • The result is then multiplied by the third bracket.
  • An example is given to demonstrate the process.
  • The expansion of the first two brackets is rewritten in one bracket.
  • Each term in the first bracket is multiplied by each term in the second bracket.
  • The terms are then added up and simplified by collecting like terms.
