Expanding Multiple Brackets
- Three or more brackets can be expanded by repeatedly expanding pairs of brackets.
- The FOIL method is used to multiply out the first two brackets.
- The result is then multiplied by the third bracket.
- An example is given to demonstrate the process.
- The expansion of the first two brackets is rewritten in one bracket.
- Each term in the first bracket is multiplied by each term in the second bracket.
- The terms are then added up and simplified by collecting like terms.
