Factors & Multiples
- Factors are numbers that divide fully into another number without a remainder
- Factors of a number can be identified by finding pairs of numbers that multiply together to give the number
- Every number will have a factor pair consisting of 1 and itself
- Square numbers will have a factor pair consisting of a number multiplied by itself
- Multiples are numbers that can be divided by another number without a remainder
- Multiples are the answers to the times table of a number
- Any integer will have an infinite number of multiples
