Frequency Tree Diagrams
- A frequency tree diagram breaks down the frequencies for a series of probability experiments
- The diagram represents the outcomes of tossing a coin two times
- Each number in the diagram represents how many trials got to that point in the series
- The events described on a set of branches should be exhaustive and mutually exclusive
- The total frequency in each column will be the total number of trials
- The numbers in the diagram must add up correctly to represent the total number of trials
- A practice example is given to complete a frequency tree diagram
- Steps are provided to complete the missing numbers in the diagram
- The completed diagram should add up correctly to represent the total number of trials
