Multiplying Surds
- Multiplying thirds can result in a third or an integer.
- Multiplying a third by itself always gives a whole rational number.
- The square root of a number squared is equal to the number itself.
- When multiplying surds with coefficients together, multiply the coefficients and the numbers in the roots separately.
- The product of the coefficients and the product of the numbers in the square root give the final answer.
