- 1% is equivalent to the decimal 0.01
- To convert from a decimal to a percentage, multiply the decimal by 100
- To convert from a percentage to a decimal, divide the percentage by 100
- Example: 58% is equivalent to the decimal 0.58
- Example: 0.125 is equivalent to 12.5%
