Perpendicular Linear Graphs
- Perpendicular lines are at a right angle to each other
- Perpendicular lines meet at 90 degrees
- The gradients of perpendicular lines are negative reciprocals of each other
- The formula for finding the gradient of a perpendicular line is M1 = -1/M2
- The product of the gradients of perpendicular lines is always -1
- To find the equation of a line perpendicular to a given line, find the gradient using the formula M1 = -1/M2 and then use the y-intercept to find the equation
