Proofs
- A proof is a sequence of logical arguments that determine if a statement is true or false
- Tricks can be used to help with making proofs
- Even numbers can be written as 2n, odd numbers can be written as 2n+1
- Expanding and factorizing are useful techniques in proofs
- Certain facts about odd and even numbers can be helpful
- To prove a statement is always true, show that it works all the time
- To prove a statement is false, find a counterexample
- The sum of two prime numbers is not always even
