Simultaneous Inequalities
- Simultaneous inequalities are a set of inequalities that need to be satisfied at the same time
- The solution to simultaneous inequalities is the set of values that satisfies all the individual inequalities
- Simultaneous inequalities can be shown visually on a graph as a single region
- Each individual inequality is represented by a boundary line on the graph
- The shaded region below the boundary line represents the points that satisfy the inequality
- The points that satisfy all the inequalities simultaneously will fall inside the shaded regions of all the individual inequalities
- Drawing a graph is the best way to represent the solution to simultaneous inequalities
- In the example given, the solution to the simultaneous inequalities is represented by a region on the graph that satisfies all three inequalities simultaneously
