Act 3 Scene 2

This scene begins with Puck reporting to Oberon that he’s done a good job – declaring, “My mistress with a monster is in love.” Oberon is strangely over the moon that his Fairy Queen has fallen in love with a mortal with an ass’ head, indicating once again to the audience that sometimes romantic relationships are controlling, obsessive, and scary and aren’t at all what they’re cracked up to be.
