Prose

Characters of lower social class, or who were less educated or noble, do not speak in gorgeous poetic rhythm and eloquent verse. Rather, they just ‘talk’ and do not pay heed to how stunning their words come across to their audience. Pretty much all of Iago’s speeches are prose, and you can truly use any quote to substantiate the use of prose in Othello.
