Adding Vectors
- Vectors can be added together and subtracted from each other by placing them nose to tail
- The addition of two vectors is called the resultant vector
- The law used to add vectors together is called the triangle law of addition of vectors
- To subtract a vector, reverse the direction of the arrow and add the negative version of that vector
- Vectors can also be added and subtracted in column vector notation by adding the horizontal and vertical components separately
- Resultant vectors can be added even without a visual representation as arrows
