Angle Bisector
- An angle bisector is a line that splits an angle into two equal angles
- To construct an angle bisector using a pair of compasses:
- Step 1: Place the compass point on the angle and draw an arc through the two lines, keeping the compass fixed on the vertex
- Step 2: Keeping the compass at the same separation, draw two arcs from where the first arc meets the two lines
- Step 3: Draw a straight line from the angle through where the two arcs meet, this line is the angle bisector of the original angle
