Basic Division
- Division is the operation of splitting up numbers into equal parts
- Division can also be thought of as determining how many times a smaller number goes into a larger number
- When a number is not wholly divisible, there will be a remainder
- Division is the inverse of multiplication
- Dividing undoes the effect of multiplying and vice versa
- To solve a division problem, identify the number that has not been used yet and fill in the answer using the inverse operation of multiplication
