Bivariate Data
- Bivariate data is a data set where each item gives a pair of data values
- Bivariate data is usually a pair of quantitative data values
- Bivariate data can be recorded in a table, with the headings representing the measurements taken and the data pairs recorded vertically or horizontally
- Bivariate data is used to determine if there is a relation between the two data values in the sample
- Bivariate data is often used in scientific experiments
- The larger the set of bivariate data, the more information it can provide
