Compound Units
- Compound units are made with combinations of standard units
- Speed is equal to distance divided by time
- Calculation triangles can be used to find compound units
- Density is equal to mass divided by volume
- Pressure is equal to force divided by area
- Rates are a type of compound unit found by dividing a unit by a unit of time
- Rate of pay is equal to amount of money divided by time
- Rate of flow is equal to volume divided by time
- Dante earns 80 pounds for working 8 hours at a rate of 10 pounds per hour
