- Converting units of area involves multiplying the conversion factor twice
- One meter squared is equal to 10,000 centimeters squared
- The area of a square is calculated by multiplying the height by the width
- Tim's plot of land with an area of 30 meters squared is equal to 300,000 centimeters squared
- Naomi's flower bed with an area of 3,000,000 millimeters squared is equal to 3 meters squared
