  • Factors of a number can be identified by finding pairs of numbers that multiply together to give the number
  • Every number will have a factor pair consisting of 1 and itself
  • Square numbers will have a factor pair consisting of a number multiplied by itself
  • Multiples are numbers that can be divided by another number without a remainder
  • Multiples are the answers to the times table of a number
  • Any integer will have an infinite number of multiples
