Index Bracket Rule
- When there are brackets involved in an index, a specific rule is used to multiply the bracket out.
- The rule states that a to the power of x, all raised to the power of y, is equal to a to the power of x times y.
- An example is given to illustrate this rule.
- Any number squared is that number multiplied by itself.
- The example shows how to simplify an expression using the rule.
- The steps to simplify an expression are outlined.
- Another example is given to demonstrate the steps.
- The final answer is given in index form.
