Iteration Formulae
- Equations can be solved using iteration
- Iteration involves making a guess and using it to create a new guess using an iteration formula
- The iteration process continues until the approximation is close to the exact solution
- The iteration formula is derived by rearranging the equation to have a single x on one side
- Examples of rearranging equations to match a desired form are given
- The rearranged equations can be used to create iteration formulas for finding approximations to the solutions
