- Long multiplication is used to multiply numbers with many digits together
- The grid method can be used for long multiplication
- Split the numbers into hundreds, tens, and units in a grid
- Multiply the units column by the rows of tens and units
- Multiply the tens column by the rows of tens and units
- Multiply the hundreds column by the rows of tens and units
- Add up all the numbers to get the final answer
