  • The midpoint is the point halfway along the line drawn between two points
  • The coordinates of the midpoint can be calculated using the coordinates of the two points
  • The formula to calculate the coordinates of the midpoint is: xm = (x1 + x2) / 2, ym = (y1 + y2) / 2
  • The x coordinate of the midpoint is the average of the two x coordinates, and the y coordinate of the midpoint is the average of the two y coordinates
  • To plot the midpoint, write down the coordinates of the two points, use the midpoint formula to calculate the coordinates of the midpoint, and then plot the coordinates on the graph.
