  • A recurring decimal is a decimal that has one or more repeating digits that repeat forever
  • Recurring decimals can be represented as a fraction with integers for the numerator and denominator
  • The repeating digits in a recurring decimal can be represented by a dot over the repeating digit
  • If there is a group of repeating digits, write the dot over the first and last digit of the group
  • The amount of numbers before the repeating pattern starts can vary
  • To write a decimal in recurring decimal form, circle the repeating group and put dots above the first and last digit of the group
