  • When multiplying square roots, the expression can be simplified using the rule: the square root of A times the square root of B equals the square root of AB.
  • The square root of 2 times the square root of 3 is equal to the square root of 6.
  • Square roots can be simplified if the number inside the square root has a factor that is a square number.
  • The square root of 12 can be rewritten as the square root of 4 times 3.
  • A third is in its simplest form when the number inside the square root is the smallest possible integer.
  • To simplify the square root of 27, rewrite it as the square root of 9 times 3.
  • Use the rule for third multiplication to separate the product.
  • Evaluate the square root of 9 to get the answer, which is 3.
  • The square root of 27 is equal to 3 root 3.
