Triangle from a Diameter
- When a diameter and another point on the circumference of a circle form a triangle, the angle at the circumference is a right angle (90 degrees)
- The angle at the center of a circle is twice the angle at the circumference subtended by the same arc
- The angle at the center of a circle is 180 degrees
- The angle at the circumference is half the angle at the center
- The angle at the circumference is 90 degrees in this case
- It is important to know and be able to prove this circle theorem
