- Vertically opposite angles are angles that are opposite each other when two lines intersect
- Vertically opposite angles are equal in measure
- The sum of vertically opposite angles is 180 degrees
- Vertically opposite angles can be used to find missing angles in a straight line
- In the given example, angle x is equal to 30 degrees and angle y is equal to 150 degrees
