  • The periphrastic future is used to talk about actions that are going to happen soon (e.g.‘I am going to eat,’ ‘We are going to travel’).
  • Structure: [ir (conjugated)] + a + [infinitive verb]

  • Examples with vivir:
    • Yo voy a vivir en España. (I’m going to live in Spain.)
    • vas a vivir aquí. (You are going to live here.)
    • Ella va a vivir con nosotros. (She is going to live with us.)
    • Nosotros vamos a vivir juntos. (We are going to live together.)
    • Vosotros vais a vivir en Madrid. (You all are going to live in Madrid.)
    • Ellos van a vivir bien. (They are going to live well)
