  • River Severn: the longest river in the UK, stretching 354 km. Its source is in the Cambrian Mountains in Wales, at Plynlimon. The river flows through Wales and England, passing through towns before emptying into the Bristol Channel.
  • River Thames: the second-longest river in the UK, at 346 km in length. It flows entirely through England, starting in the Cotswolds (at Thames Head) and passes through major cities such as Oxford, Reading, and London, before reaching the North Sea. River Thames is significant for its historical, cultural, and economic importance.
